The Minden Lions Club wishes to thank Jeremy Neal for serving as our guest speaker during last Thursday’s club meeting. Jeremy is an investigator for the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office. His territory includes all of Region 7 and part of Region 6. Jeremy spoke about the many hats a State Fire Marshal investigator wears, including code enforcement, fire prevention, arson investigations, public complaint response, and emergency management response. Following his presentation, Jeremy fielded questions from Lions on topics such as the burn ban, arson motives, and fireworks stand inspections.

Jeremy was invited and introduced Thursday by Lion Dwayne Anders.
