November 3, the City of Minden lifted a boil advisory for customers on the 700 and 800 block of Louisiana Ave and for customers on the 400 block of Midland Street. Mayor Nick Cox said both advisories, placed on November 2, were results of water main breaks.
“It was two water main breaks in different parts of town on different pressure plains, but roughly at the same time,” Cox said. “An unfortunate coincidence.”
