Chief Jared McIver (left), coordinator of Minden’s National Night Out parties, presents an certificate to former mayor Tommy Davis in recognition of a party held at his home on Woodhaven Drive (District D). Davis was the only representative of NNO at November’s Minden City Council meeting. Other parties were held at District A Hillside Apartments, District B Greater Blessing Church of God in Christ and District E Kay and Jerald McGuire.
