A Shongaloo man was arrested Tuesday for felony theft and criminal trespassing.
David Matthew Horn, 41, of the 200 block of Bobby Davis Road, was taken into custody by Webster Parish Sheriff’s investigators around 3 p.m.
Sheriff Jason Parker said Horn admitted to Det. Terry Brown and Lt. Shawn Baker in a recorded interview to trespassing at a compressor station on Highway 160 in December.
“Horn admitted he stole 12 sheets of 18-foot metal and took it to his residence in Shongaloo,” said the sheriff. “Total estimated value of the metal was more than $1,000.”
Horn was booked into Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center and is awaiting bond to be set.
