This year’s Fuzzy Wuzzy competition among Bienville Parish Sheriff’s deputies brought in more than $6,400 for the Minden St. Jude Auction, around $2,000 more than last year. Sheriff John Ballance said all of his male deputies had money withdrawn from their pay in order to grow a beard and have money collected for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
