Trophies awarded for classic ‘wheels’ at annual car show

By Marilyn Miller

From classic cars to rat rods, everything on wheels was displayed at the 16th Annual Car & Bike Show in historic downtown Minden on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024. The show, co-sponsored by the Vintage Car Club of Minden, Visit Webster, and the Minden Main Street Program featured hundreds of vehicles and brought in hundreds of enthusiasts.

The day included food sales, contests for adults and children, face painting, bouncy houses, music and more. Proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, UCAP, and the NWLA Sickle Cell Association.
