Historic Main Street Minden is prepping for the inaugural “Skele Tour 2024” this October featuring Tim and Tammy Ticklebones. 

Local businesses can sign-up to receive one (unalive) life-size skeleton for $40 or $60 for a pair.  

According to Main Street Board Chairman Shawn Hatcher, businesses can pick 1-2 days to host the boney duo until the schedule fills up. He said, “We currently have about 10-14 days left on the schedule.” 

Businesses do not have to be downtown to participate. Any local business can rent the pair, and it is up to them to pose the skeletons and decorate them however they wish.  

“It is up to the businesses how they use them,” said Hatcher. “Some will be outside, or in windows of businesses and some will be posed inside.” 

The funds raised from the Skele Tour will benefit the Historic Main Street Minden with numerous upcoming projects but will also serve as a great advertising opportunity for local businesses.

“They will be pictured and featured on the Main Street Facebook page and serve as a backdrop for photo opportunities,” said Hatcher.
