A search is currently underway for 10-year-old Peyton Saintignan who has been reported missing from her home on Magnolia Rd. in Dubberly.

Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker said Saintignan was reported missing just after midnight Tuesday. She reportedly was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and yellow shorts.

Law enforcement officers from several agencies, including dog tracking teams, are searching wooded areas in the vicinity of her home.

Parker requested any persons who may be wanting to assist in the search for Saintignan refrain from entering the wooded areas.

“We’re using dog tracking teams and the scent could be disturbed by persons entering the search area,” Parker said.
