McKenna Chreene rang up 15 strikeouts and belted a home run to lead Lakeside’s Lady Warriors to a 10-1 victory over Captain Shreve Tuesday.

She allowed just four hits over seven innings while walking two.

Chreene opened Lakeside’s scoring, slamming a home run in the bottom of the first. Teal Austin then tripled, Ella Wood and Meredith Robinson singled  and Madilynn Squyres doubled to each drive in one run.  Lakeside added another run in the third when Emily Jones scored on a sacrifice fly.

Lakeside collected 11 hits in the game, led by Squyres on a three-for-four day with three RBI. Austin and Robinson each collected multiple hits for the Lady Warriors.

Next game for Lakeside is scheduled for Thursday with Minden traveling to Sibley.
