Apaches clean up Tuesday

Lady Apaches take down Tornado

Four players collected three hits each as the Glenbrook Lady Apaches pounded out 18 hits on the way to an 18-3 win over the Haynesville Lady Tors 18-3 Tuesday.

Glenbrook scored 10 times in the second inning to put the game away. Ellie Earnhardt singled to score three runs, Chloe Gregg drew an RBI walk, Hadley Haynes doubled to plate three runs, Rebecca Mosley tripled for another and  Vivian Still and Colby Hollis each had RBI singles.

Six more runs scored on seven hits in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Lady Apaches when Hollis tripled, followed by run producing singles from  Earnhardt, Gabi Brown and Gregg.

Savannah Mangrum earned the win for Glenbrook, giving up four hits and three runs over three and one-third innings, striking out five and walking three. Wesley Johnston took the loss for the Lady Tors.

Still, Hollis, Mosley, and Hallie Harmon each collected three hits for Glenbrook and Haynes, Hollis, and Earnhardt each drove in three runs.  Addison Gilmore went two-for-two at the plate to lead Haynesville.

Apaches take care of Tornado 5-1 Tuesday

Glenbrook played rude hosts Tuesday, downing the Haynesville Golden Tornado by a 5-1 score Tuesday.

Two runs in the bottom of the third were all winning pitcher Sam Ricord would need, coming when Jackson Waller doubled and Dawson Day had a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Ricord surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Aiden LeBlanc took the loss for Haynesville.

Easton Sanders led Glenbrook with two hits in three at bats and Day, Sanders, Ricord, Darron Hollingsworth, and Waller each drove in one run. Sanders and Seth Mangrum had multiple stolen bases for the Apaches.

Miller Toney, Logan Childress, Zavion Wright, and Justin J. Gilbert each collected one hit for Haynesville.
