Glenbrook’s Apaches got stellar pitching performance from Easton Sanders Friday to take a 5-0 win over the C.E. Byrd Yellow Jackets.
Sanders allowed five hits over his seven inning stint, striking out five and walking none.
Ryan Reagan tripled in three runs, and a Seth Mangrum groundout scored another to give the Apaches all they would need in the top of the first inning. A walk to Hudson Glasscock extended the lead to 5-0 in the top of the third inning.
Dawson Day, Sanders, and Reagan each collected one hit for the Apaches. Conrad Hillard led Byrd with two hits in three at bats.
