Loyola eases past Crimson Tide Tuesday

Loyola combined timely hitting with a strong pitching performance from Cole Pryor to ease past Minden 3-1 Tuesday.

Pryor gave up five hits and one unearned run in going the distance while striking out seven. Bryson Ranger went six innings and took the loss.

Loyola scored all their runs in the first two innings on a Kingston Adams double in the first and a two-run homer off the bat of Evan Lirette in the second.

Bray Winston led the Crimson Tide with two hits in three at bats and Jacob Jefferson drove in the lone Minden run.

Lirette and Adams each collected two hits for the Flyers.
