Founded in 2002 by education advocate Claes Nobel, a senior member of the Nobel family, NSHSS recognizes and supports exceptional students who demonstrate outstanding commitment to scholarship, service, and innovation. As a newly inducted member, Josh Aulds joins a community of driven students and professionals, gaining access to a wealth of resources and lifelong support.

Membership in NSHSS is not just an award—it’s a gateway to a broader world of opportunity. Josh now has lifetime access to a global network of scholars, as well as scholarships, internships, leadership development programs, and career connections designed to help members grow their strengths and pursue their passions.

“On behalf of NSHSS and our co-founder Claes Nobel, I am honored to recognize the hard work, passion and commitment that Josh has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” said NSHSS President James W. Lewis. “Josh is now a member of a unique community of scholars – a community that represents our very best hope for the future.”

Josh’s recognition reflects not only his own perseverance and talent but also the supportive environment fostered by the Lakeside High School community. Teachers and peers alike celebrate this milestone, which serves as an inspiration to fellow students striving for excellence.

As he looks ahead, Josh is excited about the opportunities that lie before him. Whether it’s exploring advanced academic paths, participating in leadership initiatives, or preparing for future college and career goals, his membership in NSHSS ensures that he’ll have the tools and support needed to succeed.

“I am extremely honored to be recognized by the NSHSS,” said Josh. “Not only will I be able to connect with other scholars in the community, but it will help me in my dream of majoring in biomedical engineering and going to med school to become an anesthesiologist.”

Congratulations to Josh Aulds on this outstanding achievement and for representing Lakeside High School with honor on the national stage.
