As an outreach program, Springhill Art League is selling banners Hometown Heroes. Banners of your veteran will be displayed on the light poles around the main parts of Springhill and will honor veterans for Veterans Day, 4th of July and Memorial Day.

Betty Null with the art league said banners will be placed in May and removed in November.

Price for 18 X 15-inch banners plus the bracket is $155.

“This is a one-time price and banners are guaranteed for three years,” Null said. “By taking them down after seven months, they should last four or five years.”

An 8 X 10-inch photo of your veteran with name and service dates are required.
