Seminar to help sharpen marketing strategies

By Paige Gurgainers

As the holiday shopping season approaches and businesses begin planning for the final quarter of the year, the Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce is inviting local entrepreneurs to sharpen their marketing strategies through an upcoming educational workshop designed to help businesses finish 2026 on a high note.

The Chamber, in partnership with Write For You Media, will host “Q4 Growth Blueprint: Marketing & Lead Generation for Local Businesses” on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at the Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce, located at 110 Sibley Road.

The workshop will be led by Chantelle Douglas, founder of Write For You Media, who serves as a legacy leadership consultant and marketing strategist. Douglas works with entrepreneurs, organizations and business leaders to develop practical marketing strategies that strengthen brand visibility, attract customers and create sustainable business growth. Her approach combines traditional relationship-building with modern digital marketing techniques, giving business owners practical tools they can immediately put into action.

Designed for both new and established business owners, the session will focus on preparing businesses for the fourth quarter, which is often one of the busiest and most important sales periods of the year. Participants will learn how to increase visibility through digital and grassroots marketing, generate more qualified leads, and build a simple marketing plan tailored to their business goals.

Organizers say the workshop is intended to provide more than marketing theory. Instead, attendees can expect practical, easy-to-implement strategies that will help them connect with customers, strengthen their presence in the community and capitalize on opportunities during the holiday season.

According to the Greater Minden Chamber, supporting local businesses through educational programming remains an important part of its mission to strengthen the area’s economy. Workshops like the Q4 Growth Blueprint are designed to equip business owners with the knowledge and resources needed to adapt to today’s changing marketplace while encouraging networking and collaboration among local professionals.

The workshop begins at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
