Registration is officially open for the 2026 Witches Ride of Minden, inviting “witches” to grab their broomsticks and join one of the city’s most anticipated annual traditions.
The event, hosted by Pearls of Purpose, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, in downtown Minden. Registration is now open, with organizers offering a limited number of Early Bird tickets before prices increase on Sept. 15.
Only 75 Early Bird tickets are available, and a limited number of golf cart rentals are also being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
While the Witches Ride is known for its elaborate costumes, decorated broomsticks and festive atmosphere, organizers say the event’s true purpose extends far beyond the celebration.
Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships allow Pearls of Purpose to continue investing in communities throughout North Louisiana.
Because of community support, the organization has provided books to every first-grade student across Webster, Bienville and Claiborne parishes, donated more than $20,000 to local charities and organizations, and helped offset the costs of producing the annual Live Nativity, a free Christmas tradition that attracts thousands of visitors to downtown Minden each year.
Organizers say the Witches Ride also serves as an economic boost for the city by drawing visitors from across the region. Participants and spectators spend the day shopping, dining and supporting local businesses, creating increased foot traffic for downtown merchants while showcasing everything Minden has to offer.
The event has grown into one of Minden’s signature fall traditions, combining fun, fellowship and philanthropy while celebrating the spirit of community.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to register early, as Early Bird tickets and golf cart rentals are expected to sell out quickly.
