An accident on Sibley Road Friday evening sent at least two persons to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

One person was driving a motorcycle with a passenger when it entered traffic from Exacta Inn and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Witnesses said the motorcycle appeared to be trying to beat the traffic.

The driver was taken to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport.
