School bus drivers have a hefty responsibility and Minden Chief of Police Jared McIver shared safety tips and protocols Thursday for drivers serving the Webster Parish school system.

“We talked about what a tremendous responsibility they have on a daily basis,” he said. “We went over scenarios that could play out during their trips, and shared suggestions on how to handle whatever may arise.”
