Davis qualifies to run for School Board Dist. 9 seat

Dear Neighbors and Residents of Webster Parish District 9,

My name is Lloyd Davis, Jr. As a proud resident of Minden, a graduate of Webster High School, and a devoted family man, I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Webster Parish School Board, District 9. My life’s work has been defined by service, and I am running to ensure every student in our parish has the tools to succeed.

With over two decades of leadership experience—including 23 years as an Instructor and Director of Operations for MARC-Industries—I bring a proven track-record of managing complex operations and supporting those with diverse needs. My commitment to our youth is personal: I am an active parent and grandparent, a mentor, and a weekly volunteer at the Project Reclaim Leadership Academy. Furthermore, as the husband of an educator for 42 years, I have a firsthand understanding of the challenges and triumphs within our classrooms.

If elected, I will be a relentless advocate for our community. My platform is built on three pillars:

  – Fiscal Responsibility: I will protect your tax dollars and ensure our budget remains strong, sound, and transparent.

  – Collaborative Leadership: I will work effectively with fellow board members to set and achieve ambitious goals for our district.

  – Accessibility: I am here to listen. I will always be available to hear the concerns of parents, grandparents, and staff to ensure your voices are heard at the board level.

I am ready to work hard for the professionals who keep our schools running and for the students who represent our future. I humbly ask for your support, your prayers, and your vote.

“FOR THE STUDENTS. FOR THE STAFF. FOR THE FUTURE.”

Sincerely,

Lloyd Davis, Jr.
