Danielle Phenix is a parent, community member, and candidate for Webster Parish School Board, District 10, who is running with a simple but deeply held belief: every child deserves a fair shot at success.
As a parent with children in Webster Parish schools, Danielle understands the importance of having strong schools, supported teachers, engaged parents, and a school system that puts students at the center of its decisions. Her decision to run comes from a genuine desire to advocate for children and families and to help strengthen public education in the community she calls home.
Danielle is passionate about the welfare and success of all students—not simply their test scores, but their opportunity to grow, learn, discover their strengths, and prepare for successful futures. She believes student achievement should remain a priority while also recognizing that students need the support of dedicated teachers, involved parents, and a community willing to invest in their education.
If elected, Danielle hopes to be a thoughtful, accessible, and active voice for students, parents, and educators. She wants to help make smart, responsible decisions that allow students to thrive while ensuring that taxpayer resources are handled responsibly and that families can have confidence in the decisions being made on their behalf.

Teacher Support & Parent Engagement: Strengthening the partnership between educators, parents, and the school system.
Fiscal Responsibility: Ensuring school resources are used wisely and with students’ best interests in mind.
Transparency: Encouraging open communication, accountability, and greater community involvement in school-related decisions.
Career & Technical Education: Expanding opportunities that prepare students for meaningful careers, skilled trades, higher education, and life beyond the classroom.
Danielle believes that serving on the School Board means more than attending meetings and voting on issues. It means listening to the people who are directly affected by those decisions, asking questions, being willing to have difficult conversations, and working toward solutions.
“I want to be a doer and a voice for our children, our parents, and our community,” Danielle says. “I care deeply about the welfare of our children and about making sure every student has a fair shot at success. Our children deserve advocates who will listen, show up, and work with the community to help make our schools stronger.”
