Apaches The Glenbrook Apaches rolled into the metropolitan area of Olla, Louisiana. CP-10, Carson Powell, Day Day Davis Powell and Darron Hollywood Hollingsworth served as game captains. The Apaches came out ready to make some noise—and eventually turned the night into a 43–22 Apache party.
The Apache defense quickly made itself comfortable in LaSalle territory. Starting at the Tiger 24, Glenbrook’s defense held strong on fourth down, forcing the first turnover on downs of the night. That’s right, the FIRST of many.
The offense gave the Tigers the ball right back with an interception, but the defense wasn’t interested in giving them anything for free. Luscious Louie Collins helped force another turnover on downs, and the Apaches took over at the 45.
From there, the offense found the ignition switch.
Braxton The Bull-Tibbitt and Kryptonite Kleaton Davis moved the chains behind the offensive line of Weston Demolition Duck and The Strong Man— Nolan Still. Then, Braxton The Bull, dropped a 29-yard touchdown dime to Darron “Hollywood” Hollingsworth. And because apparently six points wasn’t enough, Huddy Glasscock decided to barrel into the end zone through the A-gap behind Aiden The Hammer Nehls, for the two-point conversion. Apaches led 8-0.
Back from injury a week prior, “Puddin” Channing Rainey delivered a massive sack that made it 4th down and a cab ride and force another Tiger punt.
The Beast, Carson Whitehead then went to work, picking up 15 yards behind the masterful blocking from the Apaches leader, Franklin-The Tank-Bridwell. We’re so glad to have him back on the field for the Apaches.
In a new offensive look, Luscious Louie Collins powered into the end zone behind another outstanding effort from the offensive line, and Slammin-Sam Scroggs continued his personal campaign to make extra points look like 40-yard field goals. 15–0 Apaches with six minutes left in the half.
The Apaches defense started stacking “turnover on downs” like cordwood with, yes, their 3rd of the night!
The dynamic duo made Monday Night Football “MOSSED” footage when Tibbitt dropped another absolute dime to Hollywood Hollingsworth, this one from 38 yards out. TOUCHDOWN APACHES!!! 22–0.
LaSalle finally answered with a touchdown to make it 22–8, but the Apaches weren’t finished.
Brayson-Flash-Festervan and Rowdy Ryan Reagan ran a pair of picture-perfect button routes for 15 yards each.
And then Braxton The Bull, found Kryptonite Kleaton Davis as they capped off the drive with a swing-pass touchdown. Apaches led at half, 29-8.
The Apache defense opened the second half and immediately forced its FOURTH turnover on downs.
The only blemish came when a low snap put Tibbitt on a knee in the end zone, giving LaSalle a safety. So, technically, the Tigers scored, i guess.
But let’s not get carried away. 29–10, Apaches.
After the free kick, Rowdy Reagan stepped in front of a Tiger pass for an interception. That interception with a great return immediately setup Tibbitt to Hollywood….and if you’re still counting… yes, for the THIRD TIME!! TOUCHDOWN! 36–10 Apaches.
Meanwhile, Tristan The Titan Grigsby, despite giving up roughly 100 pounds against his mirrored man on the line, spent the night proving that weight isn’t everything when you’ve got technique, toughness and a bad attitude toward getting blocked.
LaSalle put together a solid drive late in the third and scored after a big play! Apaches still led 36-16.
But Carson Whitehead wasn’t interested in letting the Tigers build any momentum.
Whitehead broke two tackles, came off his offensive lineman’s right hip, and ran like a dog was chasing him, 20-yards for another Apache touchdown. Suddenly the Apaches were back up 43–16.
And all night long, Slammin Sam Scroggs was casually booting extra points 35–40 yards like he was trying to put the football into orbit.
LaSalle added a late score, but the damage had long since been done. The Apaches would win in dominating fashion, 43-22.
The Apaches piled up 151 passing yards and 125 rushing yards, with Tibbitt throwing for 151 yards and four touchdowns. Darron Hollingsworth led the receiving attack with 97 yards and three touchdowns, while Carson Whitehead rushed for 63 yards and a score.
Defensively, the Apaches were equally disruptive, highlighted by Day-Day Davis Powell’s seven tackles and two sacks, Huddy Hudson Glasscock’s 6.5 tackles and sack, Rowdy Ryan Reagan’s interception, and a whole lot of fourth-down frustration for the Tigers.
And when the dust settled, Darron Hollywood Hollingsworth was named the Hol-Mont Sales- Player of the Game from our press box coverage.
Hollywood had himself a night. Three touchdown catches, big plays all over the field, and a trip home from Olla with a 43–22 Apache victory.

Apaches, I know it’s homecoming week and a time to celebrate and make memories, especially for the seniors.
