An alleged Train To Step (TTS) gang member walked into the Minden Police Department Tuesday morning and surrendered to local law enforcement.

Austin Jamal Sims, 20, of the 100 block of Eisenhower Dr., Minden, is charged with warrants for criminal street gang and patterns of criminal street gang.

Sims’ arrest brings the number of alleged TTS gang members arrested to 14. He is being held on a $50,000 bond at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.

“We continue searching for other persons associated with TTS, with arrest warrants in hand,” Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said.
