A north Webster Parish man crashed his vehicle Monday morning, leading to his arrest.

Jacob M. Heckendorn, 25, of Smith Loop, Sarepta, was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine and careless operation of a motor vehicle.

According to reports, Springhill Police responded to the single vehicle rollover crash on Hwy. 371, just outside the northern city limits of Springhill.

Heckendorn, the driver of the vehicle, was uninjured but reportedly displayed an extreme level of impairment. At the Springhill Police Department, a search was conducted and a clear plastic bag containing Methamphetamine was located in the subject’s front left pocket.

Heckendorn reportedly admitted to having consumed Methamphetamine in the early morning hours. He was transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
