A pair of foreign nationals taking a “smoke” break at a Goodwill Rd. truck stop Saturday are now residents of the parish prison after Louisiana State Police troopers interrupted their illegal activity.

Henderson Innocent, 26, and Stanley Osiris, 30, are both charged with possession of CDS Sch. I (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Innocent reportedly lives in Tonopah, Arizona, while Osiris listed an Austin, Texas, address.

Trooper Kade Schufft and Trooper First Class Daniel Albrecht reportedly found the two men sitting in a vehicle in the truck stop parking area smoking marijuana just before 11:30 p.m.

Troopers reportedly observed marijuana in plain view inside Innocent’s vehicle and another parked alongside. More of the illegal drug was located inside the vehicles during a subsequent search. Both men reportedly admitted ownership of the drugs.

According to the incident report, the men were passing through Webster Parish on temporary work passes from Haiti. Innocent and Osiris reportedly are being held at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center. No bond has been set.
