Webster Parish had 2 back to back severe thunderstorm warnings. One occurred 6 p.m. followed by the 2nd severe thunderstorm warning at 7:10 p.m.

There were reports parish wide of trees down.

Outlook

The week will still have temperatures lows in upper 70s and highs in the upper 90s close to 100F.
Each day there’s a slight chance of rain.

Toward the end of the week, the highs will be in the upper 80s and the lows will be in the lower 70s. By next weekend, we could see the temperature in the mornings, dip to around 60F.

We are still in a moderate drought and a moderate fire danger..We will have to have a few continuous days of heavy rain to even make a dent in the drought .
